    hi guys im new to this site but i needed to ask why my holden vt 98 model is running rough after ive just done a major service, replaced spark plugs, leads, oil filter, fuel filter, oil, and after i done all this my car splatters real bad on take off or when i put my foot down any help on this matter would be much appreciated.

    Maybe broken spark plug or lead not on plug or coil properly

    leads are connected properly and plugs n leads are new, well ive done 10,000ks sence i put them in but ive had this problem sence i changed them.

    Have you checked you didn't crack a plug when you put then in? If not plugs maybe a vacuum hose is loose, check all the hose connections for tight fit or cracks.

    Definitely check for a cracked or closed up plug, its easy to crack them when tightening them. Also double check the plug leads are on right plugs/coils. If theyre wrong, they will cause the car to splutter and run crook.
