Hi guys... Just wondering how do you guys deal with the rust on your wheel hubs?? i find it very unsightly! lol do you guys paint them? cover them? cheers..
clean them up, mask and use some caliper paint or something simliar and paint the colour of your choice
just sand them back really fine and yeh just spray them. then end up looking really nice. well worth the effort
VHT do a range of colours to suit brake applications. apparently it's resistant to brake fluid etc. i'd only paint the visible area's. i always grease the hub face where the wheel mates to it. stops rust. i also grease the studs lightly and the hub where the wheel sits on. i ahve seem a occasion where a wheel was stuck on the hub because of rust
just grab some heat resistant paint and some brake cleaner spray and they are fine, mine were pretty well covered in rust so i got a wire brush on my drill and ground off the bad stuff...turned out well.
