Have you hit the Fleureiu Peninsular? You should try the McLaren Vale wine district. Spectacular scenery along the coast between Moana and Maslins then head inland about 10 mins and you are in wine country.

Hahndorf is pretty nice but usually packed with tourists/visitors.

To be honest, I usually get as far as kellermeister, pick up my dozen bottles of sable and pass out in the motel

Hahndorf is cool, i've been there a few times. Schutzenfest but I think thats usually in Janruary so ya've missed out.

LOL, I wasn't even thinking of the nudies on the beach. I think the coast line is pretty awesome and locals take it for granted.

Sure it's not like the Great Ocean Road, but the red ochre cliffs are to be seen IMO.

thanks everyone for the suggestions, we'll check some of them out. i like Adelaide, the only thing I don't like is the ridiculous amount of speed cameras. we have like 2 in geelong, theyre like tourist attractions.
