Is this law in Qld yet? I'm forever seeing young chicks.. (Amusing.. considering I should be in that category) talking on the phone and almost running up the arse of my car all to often. I always pull up to make a call if I HAVE to. Usually I'm to rude and ignorant to even bother pulling up lol

Hmmm this would sure make quite a few jobs difficult to do!

LOL. You kids!!!! I used to be on the road often for work in the days before mobile phones and you know what? We ran a very successful Interior Design business without the need to be contacted by a phone 24/7.

It worked like this:

*Person calls office* Can I please speak to Sashyre?
*Receptionist* She is out of the office. Can I take a message and she can call back or could someone else help?

I am quite sure we could revert to message taking, or simply return the call retrieved from message bank after you switch your phone back on at the end of your journey.

This is true. Life went on quite well before mobiles that's for sure, but i'll say this. When driving a lowloader with a 40 tonne over width load on the back it does come in handy with the bluetooth technology for the phones. I have had to take calls from vic roads escorts whislt driving because of all the chatter on the uhf so it does have at least ONE advantage:D

Lies. Before mobile phones and internet everyone just got stoned and watched Sesame Street.

I know it, I was there.
