Had the Melbourne HQ Cruise over the weekend which was great fun, this thing sounds great in the tunnel haha. Though its rather quiet compared to some of the others.

Rear suspension is just about done now, leaves have been reset 3". Just have to fit up some 225 rears as the current 245s foul on the guard lip a tad, that and trim/find smaller rear bumpstops. Still not sure what I'm doing with the front yet, as it only needs to come down about 10-20mm tops. So will probably just do the shocks/bushes some time and see if I can find some used lows real cheap.

So not heaps happening with this car, or any of em for that matter. But did have the Melbourne HQ run over the weekend which went well. Car has a bit of a noisy lifter so bought a dynatec cam and lifters to solve that for now, similar specs to the crane H268. I've started redoing the cluster with Autometer Sport Comp gauges too, not much to show at this point though so will post some pictures once there's something to show. Have decided I need to put the 245s back on the rear too after the weekend, rears look way too small, will just have to massage the lips a little though.

So I haven't updated this in a long time and all the pictures have since buggered off too. But in December last year I munched what I thought was a lifter in this and took it off the road. It sat around for ages with me being too busy with work and life to do anything with it. Have since rebuilt the suspension and lowered the front a touch so it sits level again. I pulled the 253 out yesterday to be replaced with a 304 I've had sitting around for a while. (was originally going into the VC, will find another block for that one). So plan is just a simple rebuild swapping off all the carby gear onto the 304, but with a Edelbrock Air Gap and a Come 222 Cam which I had sitting here. Just a simple cheap throw together thing so I can drive it again. Its no fun having 2 project cars not running. Pic dump of where its at now and some from last year when it was still running.

All new gear, DBA T3 5000's, QFM Pads, Koni Reds etc.

First set of springs I tried, as sick as this looks I couldn't even get my low jack under the K frame and driving it was going to result in munching guards.
