Apologies if this has been covered somewhere else, I've searched high and low and not been able to find an answer as yet...
I have a VZ V6 that is reporting Check PowerTrain and I'd like to use a scantool to pull the codes from the car. I've purchased a bluetooth ELM327 and also ScanMaster-ELM software. I can connect to the car using ScanMaster, but it only seems to have 4 parameters that I can view. No useful ones either. When I query trouble codes I get a message to say there are none - which can't be right. So I'm wondering, have I connected to the wrong module via the OBDII BUS? Or do I need some sort of VZ Holden configuration that I need to load into ScanMaster in order to read it correctly?
Thanks in advance for your help!
