scrubbing fronts

Ok, my brothers gemini is scrubbing something chronic. I didnt even realise until i took it for a drive the other day.

if you look hard enough u can see where the guards peeling paint on the front.

Im not sure whats causing the scrubbing. Front springs are stock AFAIK and it scrubs to the point of nearly stopping the car when going up driveways in half lock, and allways scrubs in full lock.

the only thing i can think of is thinner rims or tyres? He hasnt got heaps of money, but he needs it drivable before his ps

have the gaurds been rolled? might need them flared a lil bit... i need to do the same thing

ive been told he should be running 195/50/15s on the car. Hes currently running 205/50/50s.

Will the size difference make much difference, and will the 195s fit on the current rims he has???

your options

1. pole the guards to flaire
2. camber pins
3. strech the tyres on, i have a 235 on a 10" rim on my silvia to get the under the guard.
so through on a set of 195 or 185 and he'll never have a problem again
