After spending a few hours in the drivers seat of the SV6 the other day I've decided it's pretty furk'n uncomfortable. Was looking at SSV leather trim for it but don't know if those seats are much better? Any suggestions (reasonably economic)?

Thanks man...they do look nice. Not sure if they air bagged? If not it might pop up warning lights and affect insurance etc.

BTW, take note: Your SRS and/or curtain AirBag system could be rendered useless(..and so void any insurance/warranty you may have....) when you switch seats.

Older cars(NO Airbags...) are no issue, you can pretty much have any seat you want.

Food for thought...

Two thumbs up for the VE GTS seats!!!!
They're very nice for the normal-larger person unlike the earlier VS Senator and GTS that were way to hard and uncomfortable!

I have an SV6 sportswagon and hated the seats. With 4 kms on the clock I put leather SS seats into it.

They SS seats are totally different and have far more support!

I got a full set including door trims from a two month old car for $1200

Yeah think I've spoken to you about it before. I thought the SS were the same just leather dressed? $1200 is cheap as.
