I think he already has a D34 YT..

i havnt upgraded the front yet, i wanna eventually have a d34 up in the front and one in the boot, just waiting for my front battery to die, otherwise i feel like its going to waste not using it.

i have bad voltage drop (on idle) with 1200rms on the sub and im upgrading the amp soon, i've already brought a battery box, i just wanted to upgrade my electrical system and fix up all the wiring before i install the new amp

oh ok thanks for that, for my case i dont think i will need an isolator? unless i wanna cut off the front battery and just use the rear one when entering a sound comp?

why would you wanna disconnect the front battery for competitions?

i mean disconnect the rear from the front so the amps gets there power from the one in the boot, so you can have your car off and do the quick burst? save fuel?

Oh boy. 1200W RMS really isn't that much. I would go so far to say a decent sized battery will be more then enough assuming your alternator is in good nick. 2nd batteries are a waste of time in most cases.

i know, my friend has like no voltage drop with 2 batterys and same amp, but i am upgrading to a much larger one then eventually upgrade to more powerfull subs

You could go to a blue top 34M instead of D34. Gives you 900cca Instead of 650cca.

You want to be looking at the reserve capacity. CCA is Cold Cranking Amps.

I used to run 4500wrms with a single optima d34m and an earthing kit. Never had any problems.
