- 3.8 VY S Manual, ZB RSV
Six months ago I had to replace the front screen due a crack from a stone. From the sound the stone made when it hit the screen it sounded like a small stone. The same thing happened the other day. It wasn't a loud noise but the screen has a crack that is too large to be repaired. Two replacement screens in a total of 30,000 km. The replacement screen was a genuine Holden one.
Are the screens in the ZB more brittle than previous Commodores?
My VY has 410,000 km and still has the original screen. Sure it has a few battle scars (stone chips) but it has lasted the distance and has tolerated much larger hits than I have had on the ZB.
What have other ZB owners experienced? Just bad luck or brittle screens?
