As says above, I am selling an unregistered car, (actually swapping it for another vehicle which is also unregistered).

Now I have bought and sold unregistered cars before, that's not a problem.

What I can't find on Vicroads though is what to do if we both have RWC's but are selling unregistered?

Since I have got a RWC on the car I am selling does that mean the new owner can use that to register it? Or will they have to get a new RWC?

RWC is for the car. Just like when you go to register/transfer registration on a car that comes with rego/roady. The roadworthy certificate is in the sellers name, not the buyers.

    Cheers guys,

So I would just give them the rwc and then they can register it. Saves a bit of hassle.
