Series 1 engine into vr

I know there is a thread about this already but I have a series 1 vn engine that wants to go into a vr

have full vr loom and everything and vn loom and ecu, will use vr auto

is it doable or just to much messign around?

you need to add the cam position sensor which means the front timing cover and trigger on the camshaft as well to run the auto ecu and tunes for vr so you can run the box.and the tune is way out for the vn engine will not go very good and will use more gas.

Cheers for that, can i not use the vn ecu so the tune is all good?

no offense but the bold text in your signiture is rather...err....bold ;)

no cause you are VR auto and it needs the vr auto ecu to control it
