Hi Team,

Please forgive my noobness in advance.

I have a 2007 series 1 VE SS. I am looking at replacing the clutch pretty soon as its on the way out. After reading up here I have learnt the series 2 all use the LS7 clutch.

If I purchase a LS7 clutch like this from Holmart will I need to upgrade my flywheel to an LS7 one as well?
In addition will I need to change the master cylinder as well?

Thanks in advance.

clutch flywheel as a kit, slave cylinder comes with kit, not master, you could buy all the parts (clutch, flywheel bolts etc etc from holden for about $800-900) then buy the slave from someone like Mal wood (tremec specialist) $300 with lines, the factory slave is/was not much good, or just go aftermarket complete for a grand I did

Thanks for the reply. If I buy the LS7 clutch only do I need to change the other things?
Is an LS7 clutch compatible with the original flywheel etc etc.

you have to change all, the flywheel is dual mass and cant be machined very easily (cheaper for another) most will tell you do it as a kit, the slave from holdens was a bit expensive, just give them a call and get a price for the kit
