series 3 vs ute power window conversion

i know this question has been asked a million times, but last night i was talking to a bloke at the pub and he told me that in the series 3 vs utes already have all the wire in place, all i need are the regs, switches and do something to the fuse box...

is this true???

i have 2000 vs s-pac auto if that helps
