My Mate has VTII - one of those Olympic editions - when he bought it someone told him that the SII dropped 250Kg in weight from the S1 - I reckon he's dreaming (No he is not Darryl Kerrigan) - can anyone enlighten us?

I got a VY and its about 1550 which is about normal. I read the VT is about 1560 but I would find it hard too believe that either the S1 1800kg or the SII is 1300

Cheers

Sorry - bother you all -but I looked up the redbook.com.au site - 25kg was the weight difference - Didn't think a minor redesign would give that sort of weight saving.

Cheers

VT COMMODORE 50th ANNIVERSARY
that is very heavy
i wonder how much better the car would go with like weight reduction just for every day driving
im sure someone makes a carbon bonnet for the car
that would take off like 50 kg at least from the front of the car
