OK, I have ripped off a thread title from the Ford Forums, which I participate in occasionally, but not this particular one, which developed in a personal s***fight amongst contributors who tend to be insulted very easily. My rants start here ……………..

The street to our house is wide, streetlights and footpath on one side, bush on the other. Last week, about 10.00pm after a 450km drive, nearly home and suddenly I’m confronted by a bloke walking down our side of the road. Nearly ran him down as he was wearing all black clothes.
WTF ? There is a lit footpath.

Today, an old bloke, same spot, walking towards my car on my side of the road, I get about 20 metres from him and he decides to cross to the footpath side in front of me.
WTF ? Lucky I’m only doing 40kmh and have good brakes.

Last week, go to Bunnings to pick up some bulky items in the ute, come back with a full trolley, and there is a 4WD behind me with about 200mm between his bull bar and my tailgate.
WTF ? There are only about 100 vacant spaces there.

Today, Bunnings again, get back to car with 4WD parked next to me, with just enough room for me to squeeze my aging body in the drivers door.
WTF ? He’s OK, about 10 spaces on his driver’s side, and about 10 spaces on my passengers side.

Today, coming home from the above WTF ?, I have to turn right across a 2 lane, 100kmh highway at a well marked and divided intersection. The car in front stops, waits for a number of oncoming cars, gets impatient, and does his turn with an impending disaster.
WTF ? I could see me being in a stationary vehicle in a high speed collision. Disaster missed by a couple of metres, but I’ll bet there were a couple of tightened sphincters in a couple of other cars.

So … WTF ? Are people blind, or have faith in others coping with their stupidity.?

Is it passed on through generations, or do you have to learn it ?

Society continues to go down the shitter, unfortunately. Walk on a dark street, on the road instead of the footpath, half tanked and wonder why you get hit you get it by a car. Then sue the driver for negligence. Next thing we know the Apex Club at every town show will have to follow the example of Bunnings in the correct protocol for placing onions on the bread at a sausage sizzle, or risk being sued for negligence....

I hate to say it but it will take one mum at school pickup putting kid into 4B on drivers side to get killed or injured might stop it.
    And get off the road.

We had a good one the other day, driving on a divided road, two lanes in either direction with a centre bush area in the middle, daughter was in the right lane following a car and it slows down and stops in the right lane, I thought we are going to get rear ended here, sitting stationary in the right lane 70 or 80 zone can't recall, a few seconds later no signals it hooks a left turn into a street from the right lane and almost took out a couple of cars in the left lane. I couldn't believe what I saw.

Scientific research has found the human body has been undergoing transformation over the last decade or so where the brain matter has slowly been relocating towards the buttocks region as part of a relocation process purely for self preservation. It is believed that this has resulted from years of head knocks resulting in concussions, contact sport could be one contributing factor. The human body has been through many changes throughout it's existence and will continue to do so just to survive and the reasoning behind the brain slowly repositioning to the buttocks is that there is more cushioning there to protect such a vulnerable and important part of it's function seeing as the hard skull seems to be failing, unfortunately it makes it suspect to one side effect where as if one is to sit on their arse for prolonged periods it starves the brain of important blood circulation resulting in brain cells dying!
For those who may be sceptical to this discovery and have doubts it is important to remember that these individuals that do have their brains situated in there arse are usually also found to be guilty of talking out of it which is a natural behaviour of the mouth to follow the brain. This progression doesn't seem to effect all of mankind yet and is only found in a few selected 'Special' people and of course many politicians. One added advantage for this evolution is that in decades to come it will no longer be required to wear helmets for occasions where currently we put the brain at risk.

It seems we stopped teaching common sense sometime in the previous century and the following generations just can't seem to think for themselves. Our modern nanny states certainly aren't helping either.

These days everything has to be spoon feed, hopefully one day soon they will forget how to procreate and the problem will be solved!

Exactly immortality and the need to mummy, mummy, mummy a young bloke because he fell off his skateboard and skun his knee, is not helping. God forbid if he fell off and broke his arm..... Soon we will need the Child Protection dept to investigate a broken bone because some young lad was just trying to be like those who grew up in the 60s, 70s and 80s and tried something like riding a bike.

Watch Idiocracy, a true documentary of our times.

The difference is the people in that movie are smarter than real life because a smart guy turns up and they make him their leader, they know they are stupid as opposed to real life.

The smart ones learn life's lessons doing silly things, others just keep repeating the same mistakes...
