    Hey everyone.

Had my car serviced the other day and the serpentine belt needs replacing so my dad and I are going to have a crack at doing that along with diff oil, brake pads, etc.

Just wondering if anyone has the part number for the serpentine belt of a '99 VT V6 (air con)?

Is it better to go with Genuine Holden or will a Repco stocked brand do the job?

    Cheers, Tim

    Tim,

The serpentine belt to suit w/air con is a 6PK2828 (assuming not supercharged).

Gates (or Bosch) would be best bets on Belts. Avoid Dayco if possible. I've got a couple of Bosch ones here in stock and they are $27.50.

If you let us know what else you're chasing, give you a rough idea on pricing and good/bad brands.

    Hey.

Cheers for the fast reply! My local Repco has belts for $41 but I forgot to ask for the brand which was rather stupid.

I've PMed you about your belts :)

They are cheaper than that at Supercheap.
