Engine Type: O6 Alloytec V6 195.

Transmission: 5 speed automatic.

Log Book Service Interval: 90,000 klm.

Any other work done to affect price: None.

Price: $360

Company/Location: Dutton's Holden, Mt Barker, SA.

Reasonably happy with the price and the service, was done in about 2 hours.

Being the service book 90,000 klm I thought I might as well take it to Holden, I'll take it to my local mechcanic for a oil/filter at 95,000 and 100,000, no way in hell I'm leaving oil in for 15,000 with the generally short running times I do.

It will be interesting to see what my dealer charges when the time comes. Intermediate services at 7500 were not required apparently however I will be having them done anyway. With the VS I always changed the oil at the change of season (start of summer/ start of winter).

Car: Holden Berlina 2006 v6 3.6l

got my 45,000km service in January at the local Holden dealership

Serviced according to the ticket in service manual for the 45k service $395.

about $80 worth of oil- charged me for 7.5 litres (i doubt they put in 7.5l)

about to get my 60,000 km service done (mostly highway km) thinking about going to local toyota dealership instead.

$140 labour for less than 30 mins work? I'd say you got ripped

$140 labour for less than 30 mins work?

Logbook says 1.2hr, but what's the likelihood of all those checks and inspections actually being done? Depends how busy (read: desperate for work) they are I guess.
