Has anyone had "Service Engine Oil" come up on their screen when starting up and shutting down engine? I've only done 1500kms since last service. Would appreciate any info. Thanks.

from memory its for the US market who use a different service schedule to the Australian market, but on a particular vin range the US reminders werent turned off.

Their message is also different "service engine oil". I was told its to make it sound like something disastourous will happen if its not looked at

I took my car back to be reset my Holden "because if you do it yourself it will return" they had it for 1/2 a day and lo and behold when I reached 46,800 km on it came again.

This takes my mind of the petrol gague anyway:cry:

I'm past the point of giving a s#@*. My last Holden after having 11 and 5 were new never had problems before computers.

My Vz 175 came up with that message too after the 60,000K service I rang Holden in a Panic and they said they have to upgrade the ECU

I might be silly here but Is it possible to upgrade the ECU to the SV6 190 Data

there is more then just ECU changes in the 190. it is also mechanical differences in the motor
