Dinodog please do a search next time....

Resetting the the service reminder is explained in the owner's manual.

1 Turn the ignition off
2 Hold down trip computer up and down buttons together
3 Turn the ignition on while still holding the 2 buttons
4 after approx 3 seconds release both buttons
5 press the mode button untill service due screen appears
6 press and hold both up down buttons for approx 3 seconds untill you hear a beep
7 release both buttons
8 turn ignition off

To reset the "service warning" on a VT or VX. Switch ignition off. Press and hold the up and down buttons on the trip computer. While holding both the buttons down turn the ignition on and hold buttons down for another three seconds then stop pressing them. Next press the mode button until the next service distance is shown. Next press and hold the up and down buttons until the display stops flashing, then turn the ignition off then on again.

I tried this and it didn't work. I've got VT Series1, and I dont get the Service screen in the options.

Can someone confirm they've actually done this, and not just 'read it somewhere' as I've been told Tech2 is the only option. :)

Yes it definitely works, I've done it many times and I also have a VT series 1. Follow the instructions carefully.

I can confirm reseting the service reminder on numerous occasions, series 1 or series 2 should not be an issue.
