hey i just got 18 inch mags on my vx calais and now at 110 kms/h the steering shakes from side to side. ive had them balanced rebalanced and balanced again and they have enen had the rims replaced to but its still doing it. it is really starting to piss me off. with the standard 16's its perfect. the 18's are speedy envy's with bf goodrich 235/40/18's on them. i was told by another tyre place it would be the tyres as bf goodriches are **** but where i got them they reckon there the best.

anyone got any ideas ive run out and i want it fixed.
cheers brad.

did they change the tyres mayb ur tyres have a fualt in them n might have a slight bubble in them??? tho the tyre fitters SHOULD have picked up on that if there was 1 lol. Tho u have heard correct from other ppl goodrich r a **** tyre prolly not made 4 high speeds id try putting a diff set of tyres on n c how they go.......

Did they say if the rims u got spun up straight b4 they put the tyres on?? this is usually a big problem with after market rims or rims made from certain countries?
