also not all settings/tables within a tune file actually work for every vehicle they are in, some are just a vast copy for the series which may have the table there but no use for it, same as my cruze it has all the flex tables but no flex sensor input, my VE has the cylinder bias which dosnt work and all supercharger tables that dont work ect

im also not sure why a efi engine would need a flood clear as it shouldnt be flooding in the first place as u dont use the throttle like carby to start it cold, if efi is flooding u have other issues to sort out
Yeah, definitely there would be a problem if a modern EFI engine is flooding which is exactly why one would be checking engine related things…

To my way of thinking, a simple industry standardisation of holding accelerator pedal to the floor when cranking being used to inhibit injection and pulse would be a good thing. It would allow one to clear flooding, allow comp test, etc, all without needing specialist equipment or pulling fuses and such…

I’m sure if cars were developed with todays proprietary and patent mindset, it would have been more difficult to standardise accelerator pedals and they’d have been all been in the same place. That’s probably why a pedal to the floor crank isn’t standardised for no speak or fuel crank…

Such is life…

Good videos. Do not like that fuel system though. No venturi from the other side of tank and no surge pot. Hope he staged those big ass pumps, that's a huge amount of fuel circulating. AI or KPM are a far better choice.

ill go the hard way and open bonnet and take fuse lid off and take out 2 fuses :D i can only see issues with it like over time or issue and pedal only reads 99% not 100% and a workshop or person kills there engine, mine may have been worse as mine full throttle would have been full boost as well, it shot up real quick and ive got to say its strange hearing an engine running with no sound just rotating metal, and i spose to the other oil thread my bearings were still fine when removed so even that wasnt enough to hurt it dead cold so pre oiling it prob isnt necessary only for a fresh build first start engine

I love the flood mode. I always use it after an oil change to make sure there is pressure before I let it fire.
