Shift Kit stage 3

Hey people im going to be getting a reco auto gearbox for my vs, and i will be getting a shift kit decideing between stage two and three. i have no engine work but soon will be worked, does any one know what a stage three shift kit is? and what does it do? what does everyone recomend i should do? should i go for a corvette servo as well? what would be the best combonation? thanks people:thumbsup:

You may want to a search on it. I beleive that the stage 3 is a full manulised auto, meaning you have to do the shifting as the box no longer will. Your best bet from all the replys is a stage 2 with a corvette servo.

Only difference between a stage 2 and stage 3 transgo shift kit is that stage 3 is fully manualised.

So its like a manual without a clutch. Stage 2 is not.

Get a stage 2 kit. Make sure its a Transgo Kit. Get a corvette servo as well. Thats my advice :) and thats what im doing

stage 3 is a fully manualised box, go stage 2 as said above and get a bigger trans coooler also the standard holden radiator/transcooler is very average at best

The piston is bassically a standard part when fitting a shift kit. Most work shops will throw that in for no extra cost. Also get them to increase the pressure in your pressure line aswell. Stg 2 would be plenty.
