hey all gonna be shift kitting my vt auto v6.... i have found the transgo stage 2/3 shift kit, and a corvette servo for 1st and 2nd... but im wondering if there is anything for 3rd/4th and if it is actually worth doing?.. cheers guys
I think they are good for speeding everything up, IMO i always thought the auto's were a bit slow changing gear's, The shift kit seem'd to get rid of that issue My gearbox feels much better now, feel's stronger and not as much slip feel when changing.... To me i like it and am happy with my choice, Each to there own i guess
Corvette servo piston does not operate 1st gear. The corvette servo piston is used to apply 2nd firmer and give greater clamping pressure. There is also one for 4th gear.
