When I pulled the motor apart on my vn v8 I noticed that the roller rockers had been shimmed. The heads have been planed 80 thou. Is this an acceptable practice?

VEGTS BUILT BLOWN E85
sometimes they have to be shimmed so the tip is central and stays closest to central on the valve during movement

Thanks for the help. I have had a lot of bad work done on this engine over the 21 years
I have owned the car and thought this was just another example. I'm glad I asked.

Depends they could be shimmed to fix valve train geometry or could be just to save buying shorter pushrods panties and the geometry could be all up the waazoo investigate further I reckon
