shot a wabbit the other day before work (was working on the bosses property) 50m offhand through the neck with a lever action mag .22, it's a winchester but NFI what the model is haha

For ****'s and giggles I just thought I would workout what it cost me to reload my .243 (not factoring in my time, and reloading brass 10 times).
Works out to $0.88 per round using ADI powder, federal primers, Lapua Brass and Sierra projectiles.
Worth it for the cost saving alone!

yeah that's a huge saving once you start shooting off large amounts of rounds, i've looked into reloading but just wouldn't go through enough ammo to justify the initial outlay + we have a bloke who does .223 reloads for us and doesn't charge much at all

I do it mainly for the accuracy.
Also depends on calibre, some are not worth even reloading for financial reasons.
