Hi I have a vy s2 ecotec with the following bolt ons, mace 25mm manifold insulator, mace 12mm plenum spacer, mace 69mm bored out throttle body, mace cai with k&n filter, yella Terra 1.8.1 roller rockers, mace performance tune computer, genie extractors, 2x high flow 100cell cats, 2.5 inch exhaust with 1 muffler and 1 hotdog I wondering if I should notice any difference in power as I can not, any feedback would be great thanks.

Torque increase should be noticeable. Similar upgrades on my VR V6 made a decent improvement. Are you running 2.5" exhaust or twin being VY? That might be the issue? You could have some restriction.

Vy isn't a twin system? Difference with series one and two Is that mine has two cats one on each side then collector into one before first muffler where as series one collects and then has one cat then muffler..? As when I got exhaust for it, it had to be a series two as mine collects further back and I'm pretty sure standard it runs like 2 200cfm cats and I put 2x 100cfm on to improve flow so doubt it's restricted but unsure? Any other thoughts? Thanks

As in a dyno tune? Was sort of thinking that as I got a tuned computer from mace and I have my standard and don't notice any difference apart from it revs a little more.

Yes, by a "reputable" tuner, not just some guy who says he can tune

Research, alot, prior to doing anything, there are alot of monkeys out there looking for easy cash, there is a few good ones though

You just need to remove the chaff from your plans

Thanks heaps, probably going to be a little hard to find a decent one in tassie as I doubt many down here have had much to do with the v6 but thanks again, definitely wasted money with mace happy to pay whatever it cost though, as I feel it should be able to atleast beat a stock v6 which I feel it doesn't atm, better start ringing around. Thanks again

There is no one in Tasmania who tunes old V6. The Mace tunes lately are poor performers.
