   for my ls1 vt v8 commodore , i can get a set of hi-tech extractors and cats for $300 from the wreckers or should i just save me cash and get some pacemakers?

   This is just personal preference but i would never buy anything 2nd hand for my car, always brand new.I dont even like getting recon parts.If i have to wait an extra couple of weeks to save up i will.Thats just me though.

   I think if you're happy with the price and it's all in decent condition it could be alright, $300 is maybe a bit much though
   For a bit less I'd be tempted
