hey all, i have a few issues with my level 2 cluster, the ks have stoped around 204,000 which i know is a common thing for them to stop but my fuel gadge also seems to have problems it never seems to reach the full line even tho i fill my car and the pin seems to jump around when i go over bumps? i was thinking of upgrading to level 3 and also installing climate control. what is involved in the process and would it be worth my time and money? :)

The L3 upgrade is easy enough - the climate requires a heater box change over.

Search "tripin" to see how the L3 upgrade goes. The issue for you is that the L3 clusters have much the same issue with the voltage regulator that kills the fuel gauge. Easy fix tho with a little solder. The cog in the L2 cluster is a cheap fix but dont look as good as thge L3 upgrade :)

The climate control install is quite a mission to do for really no gain. You need to swap out the heater box, obviously the climate control unit, the ambient air sensor and the light sensor to.

That they do - after having a hand in over 150 L3 conversion over the past few years - I can say they do look heaps better. I tried using a L2 for a while - and nope - no good.

So yep go for the L3 upgrade. :)
