fellow mtb rider yeah!!!

I ride a Giant STP freeride, dirt jumps. Waiting on some Sun MTX Downhill rims form the states for like 6 weeks now, $149 a piece. Buying a set of Hayes El Camino hydrualic discs, 6 hundred each end.

If your only doing dirt jumping then why do you need $1200 bucks worth of brakes??
I can understand strong rims but the 6 week wait is ****.
Why not get em from a dealer in town?

freeride dude, mix of downhills jumps slalom so good brakes are required.

Rims: Dirtworks gets a quarterly shipment from Sun Ringle, the rim manufacturer. These particular rims are wanted badly by riders everywhere hence the wait, plus these ones have only just been released in 36 hole which is what my hub stipulates.

Nice one. STP's are a nice ride man. :yeah: I think you're going pretty heavy duty for frame primarly built for "Street" and "Park" ( I know they're also "Trail" ).
In sayin that though, mountain bikes have the biggest BLING factor out of anything man...! :coolpimp: Oh to have Fox 36's, Juicy 5's, an E-13 and some CrossMax rims..... Maybe chuck in some Easton and Thomson gear for good measure..!!

Na man. 5's are just as powerfull, a lttle bit lighter and less fiddly as well as cheaper...
Every review on them from Magazines to actual riders who own them recomend the 5's.
Go he MTX in Camo !!! Lovin it. My next purchase is gonna be an an SDG saddle, or some FUNN peddals... goNice one...
