Hey guys

I’m intending to take off the rubber side strips on my vx executive series 2 and I was wondering if they were just glued on or if there were actually screws or something, basically I just want to know, if I take them off, will there be holes in the door

Thanks, Matt

No holes, they are stuck on. They should come off with a bit of heat applied from a hair dryer or heat gun. The residue can be removed with a caramel wheel (so I've been told).

Use a piece of fishing line to get behind them and move it back and forth like a saw,
then heat the remaining double sided tape carefully with a heat gun and remove it that way, not to much heat, as you could burn/damage the duco.
or
Degreaser can also soften the remaining adhesive strip/glue.
