Matter of law = dispute of the law's interpretation. Yeah, he might have a harder time getting it than I originally thought. And I dont condone piracy, but when it comes to fascist censorship...
I agree with you there. In the privacy of your own home you should be allowed to watch/play what you want. C.
I love the quote from the site you linked to: "Essentially they banned the game, which in our opinion is rather ironic considering that the game takes place in a city with a tyrannical government that tries to suppress the freedom of expression," Barr said.
Christ! i'm not that dense! What I meant was, when you said it's a matter of law did you mean the main topic of this thread (importing banned goods) or getting it chased up?
@1vngal Hahaha, I guess your sig is true then? I was just referring to the way you said: "If "banned" was ok to import, sell distribute etc., customs wouldn't have taken it would they?"
I have been known for the odd 'blonde moment' but I'm not too bad!! Ok it makes sense now. Evey time I posted there'd be 3 other posts in front of me! So kept having to edit them, and thats where I lost out on what you were referring to! (P.S. I really am a genius:whistling )
poxy game anyway. just go and buy a can of spraypaint and draw some pictures in ya garage and buy a blowup doll and beat the **** out of it. thats about all that game looks like it does. gaystation doenst have real games. doesnt anyone know that yet?
CBF reading this whole thread, but we had some air rifles siezed by customs, stupid customs.. but it was just after September 11 so I sort of don't blame them, cost $100 though and I never got it back.. on the letter it said I could write to some police thingy and explain why I want them and get some sort of licence or something and I would be able to, too much work though lol.. Your game: It's your fault you got caught, they do random checks of everything these days, an anti terror thing.. don't expect to ever see your money again, same thing as our air rifles.. the seller said they're prohibited items and isn't responsible if they get picked up.. sure enough they did
I'm not saying anything, but *link removed* Get a mod chip... Mod note: Piracy is not only illegal but also frowned upon at Just Commodores
from http://www.oflc.gov.au/special.html?n=386&p=164 you can get permission to import it, but should have done it first.
"Request to import"! My reading of the GOAS site is that a request to import can be made, with no guarantee of success. An attempt to import is illegal unless approval has been given for the product to be imported. The goods would have already been destroyed as the attempt to import was without approval, and therefore illegal. If he wants the goods, he should apply, and then buy if successful. Too late to get this one back.
all right i just went and spray painted pictures on my ford and drew a face on my boxing bag n hit it, this seemed far more enjoyable than what that game looks to offer. try it out, then go buy a 64 bit amd 256 meg geforce 6800 2 gig o ram and Quake 4 and enjoy a real mans game
