Hi guys, been trying to sort this issue out for a while now, no one seems to have run into this issue before, so im hoping someone here has.
I lock my car door with remote, when I come back to unlock the car, the car doesnt respond to the remote. I then have to put key in door to unlock the car. The car alarm then sounds. I then put key in ignition to turn alarm off and the fuse to electric windows and central locking blows. This sequence, repeatedly blows this exact fuse. I've replaced the key with an original Holden key and didn't help. I was thinking maybe the body control module, but before that, was hoping something small and simple like a door actuator or something?

sounds like a shorted door actuator
do all of the doors unlock when you use the key

sounds like a shorted door actuator
do all of the doors unlock when you use the key
when i use the remote, and when its working, all the doors pop. Even when i put key in the door, all doors pop. But once the fuse is blown, only driver side

so this is an intermittent fault? yes/no
i would unplug one door actuator at a time
if you unplug divers door actuator remember this is a master so key in door will not command others to open
so you will need to rely on remote functioning
and operate until fuse blows
and then move to a different door
you should have some idea how frequently this occurs
so allow double this time if fuse does not blow and then currently unplugged door needs to be investigated further

yes the key remote not responding to the car is intermittent, where I then have to initiate the manual unlocking sequence and the alarm sounds, then key in ignition etc to turn alarm off, the fuse is then blown.

so you reckon put a new fuse in the car. Unplug actuators one at a time, and use the remote function to unlock and lock until a fuse blows to determine if it is the actuator causing the fault?

yes, you may find the remote works perfectly with on actuator unplugged
intermittent faults are much harder to diagnose
