trent, given what you ahve done in the past, and your little driving thing that happend in the melbourne cruise you are realy treading on light water with me, you should honestly count your lucky stars that you havnt been banned yet pull your head in champ,

it's realy quite simple, if you dont like it trent, leave, it's no skin of my back
the signature thing was done to prevent people putting in racist, insulting and nasty sigs, which is what he had, if you dont like it, fine, leave.

now, as for aussieholden linking, guess what, i own that site, which i have given to justcommodores. so as far as i can see, be it that the 2 sites are owned by the same people we can cross link each other.

general rule guy's, jc is the biggest commodore forum in australia. if i went to street commodores and linked jc i would get kicked out, if i went to brisbane commodores and linked jc i would get kicked out. those are to name just a few, it's common respect between forums. you want members, fine, get your own. we didnt become the size we are today by posting links on other forums. that is why linking other websites isnt alowed.

and trent, like i said, if you dont like it, and think jc is turning into some sort of a nartzi forum, fine, leave, go to yoru other forums, play games there, and try the same stunt there. you will be surprised what will happen.

Fair enough, and I have once apologised. I won't go into that, thats kinda irrelevant to this topic of conversation.

Racist, Insulting, Nasty.. The three descriptions you used.. and Fair enough, if there is a signature that falls into one or more of the signatures, thats just fair game.. But mine was simply a link to a forum. "If you don't like it, leave" Don't you think thats a bit harsh. I have pretty much stuck with the rules the whole way along, (correct me if im wrong) built myself a reputation along the forums - maybe not to everyone, and generally im friendly..

My PERSONAL OPINION, It shouldn't matter who runs what site.. the rules clearly state "other sites can afford advertising so let them do it."

Another note, JC may be the biggest, largest whoever/whatever but from the forums I visit, which I'll say I don't visit everyone of them.. but there are "Ausrevs", "Street Per4mance", "JustCommodores" I think thats about it.. but the other two allow mentions/links to other sites, within reason of course.

I do think that some of the Moderators of this forum have got somewhat power hungry, and use it to thier advantages. As much as I have a LOT of respect for the "older generation" of moderation (older gen, being the people who have been here since almost day dot), I think that there should be some form of rethinking about who is and who isn't a moderator, and who's been using their power respectively and for the right uses.

Garth, I'm not trying to cause bitchfights, thats the last thing that I want to happen. Jc is a great forum, and what I post here is 90% my opinion, and 10% fact (being that most of my posts are in "My Ride", "Pub" and the likes, and I will enjoy my stay for as long as it may be..

i cant beleive that someone who is so pumped about getting 1000 posts and seems to be here a hell of a lot has so many negative things to say about the place. its painful to read.

It's not so much being "pumped" about it, its more that i've seen others do it in the past, so I thought why the hell not.

Troy711 I know the moderation/admin team do a SHITLOAD on the forums here.. but seriously, as you can expect, not a great deal gets seen on the public eye.. I can't remember if it was you personally, but someone did tell me that somehting like 80% of it is behind the scenes work.. Fair Enough, and great.. but something small like signatures IMO shouldn't be too much of a worry.

We'd like to keep this site work, family, school friendly and I for one think that is more important than pleasing a minority of members who feel the need have signatures filled with swear words. What our admin/mods/members have in their signatures at other sites is completely irrellevent, thats up to the other site to deal with.

My last signature contained none of that.

I agree completely. Just like Tr3nt said, i'm not saying that they don't do a great job around here, because 80% of the time they do. But I have seen some mods get very catty/sarcastic towards other users, and sometimes for no reason at all. And that IMO doesn't look good for the site or anyone else.

Fair enough sometimes we go a little off topic or say something a little out of line or whatever, but there is no real reason for the mods to be downright rude in posts for every one to see. We all know who the mods are, and what they're 'powers' are, but they don't need to show continually prove this to us over the smallest and most unimportant thing.
