Getting it replaced is best case scenario.
What if the bastards take it and flog the **** out of it for a few weeks and dump it somewhere with repairable damage? Hard to love that car again.
One of the guys from the car club I'm in posted about how he had been without his SS for months after it was stolen. It was found not long after it was taken but was used in crimes and involved in a pursuit. The cops held onto for ages as it was evidence and had to be processed etc. It had repairable damage so he had to wait for them to be done with it before it could go to get repaired.

Not sure whats changed in the world but I've owned just about every model V8 commodore since the VN for the last 20+ years and the now is the first time I've actually felt fear of someone taking my car.
This kind of fear use to be reserved for people who owned rare things like group A's and old school GTS's etc.

    Oe VN Exec's lol.
The VF V8's are desirable, irreplaceable (new), go like the clappers and there's a huge market for parts. Not to mention the Limited's. It is a worry. Time I got another Pit Bull I think.
