Vl mirror bolt spacing is different. Will fit after a redrill.

1 mirror bolt hole lines up....Only need to re-drill the other 2....Just line the mirror up to check, as the memory is crappy and I can't be bothered checking it at this hour of the night.

Looks like your in Vic as its got no rego plates on it 'll guess it'll need a rwc and rego before he can drive it.
Don't do any mods untill its rego'ed, I doubt you'll find anyone that'll rwc it with the sports steering wheel on it.

Ah memories. Looks just like my first Commodore.
In mine I never bothered with second gear as it was so close to first, I usually skipped it.

Yeah we're in VIC, still a while before a rego is needed, he's still got all the original bits that have been removed/modified, so the steering wheel can be changed back to stock for roadworthy when needed

Second is great haha they really need an extra gear, she sits on about 3K RPM at 100kph haha

Well my brothers been working on the new radio/stereo. Got it in and all wired up and working, just need to move the speakers to parcel shelf, and then run the wires to the back. The new antenna is landing Tuesday, so then it will all be good.



He had the back seat out, and geez!! hahah heaps of rubbish, found a really old $5 note (take a photo tomorrow), a few other bits and pieces as well.


I'll also take a photo of the parcel shelf and speakers

Looks great man, good to see you getting the wiring done now, where did you get it from?

As, in my own experience, the parcel shelf wood may fall apart when you try to move it/do something with it. Probs cracked, faded, etc too.

The parcel shelf was actually pretty good, Simon & dad cut a hole in it with the jigsaw so I presume it's all good. I did suggest to make a new one, but dad said it would be difficult due to the slight raised lip at rear window, as well as the dimister... but I'll show them the thread & see what they thinks

The wiring and speakers, dad already had them from something else (forgot to take photo today ) & the actual stereo was from just from Repco.

Here tis **EDIT Apparently this is a new note? Why was found under the back seat of an old car then? lol **EDIT #2 Done some research, apparently it's a special note from about 2001.... first time I'd ever seen one
