    Will the diff gears from a live axle diff (VN-VS) fit into a VS irs diff center or are they different?

    That post was my first stop and suggests to me that it IS possible to swap all diff centers from VK to VS (including IRS) but I just wanted to make sure that this was completely accurate.

    The post states that all Borg Warner 78 diffs have interchangeable centers... However, my gregory's says that my IRS diff is a BTR 76 series. WTF is BTR?

    Should be a very easy question but I wanna be sure before I remove my diff

    Borg Warner = BTR = Dana. basically companies being bought out by bigger companies.

    as far as i know all diff gears are interchangable between BW78 diffs (VL to VS & Vt s1), this includes the VS IRS. not sure what the BTR 76 refers too. plenty of people have changed there gears with no issues
