Took me a long time to do these, If you have one of those magic almost perfectly builts VN/P/Rs and perfect traction this should very VERY close to its real life potential. I don't normaly run the stock engines right through the simulations to see what they can do, just to see what mods give the most power per dollar. But anyway I was bored :p

What type of info would you need to do my VP, It's got some extra mods now does that matter? Very good grip with i only just found out the same tyres used on the VYII-VZ Calais:D. New tranny tailshaft etc. No memcal work runs on 91.
I was trying to work out ruffly what power it has now?.

And it was good to see the stock VP was the fastest:D

Slickholden, I don't like to be the bringer of bad news but there's a very good chance your car would be no faster than stock (or even slower) once it has warmed up with the pod on it, just +15c worth of hot air could cost you 7nm of torque right through the rev range and that's most likely more than you gained back with the exhaust. Throw the pod to the tip  and get the coldest air into the thing you can and then go to repco or somewhere and get a cooler thermostat, around 175F or even a bit less than that AND make sure your throttle body does open 100% straight, those are things you can do that WILL make you car go faster and they are cheap.

:driving:

Worth a mention that all those calculated times are with a perfect air fuel ratio, something alot of stock VN's don't have anymore or never did have. That's why the perfect spark advance times aren't much different, because you gain most of your extra memcal power with the fuel ratio getting fixed, if that's allready ok you don't see much gain on the V6's (esp on the VN which is almost maxed out from the factory (but also most likely to have a crap air fuel ratio:)))

LOL after you said that about the pod i was sitting here thinking i think your right, When i had the air box on it seemed the same to me.
I think my throttle body is up **** creek:D Not sure it opens 100% i believe it doesn't. I think it had a thermostat done before i bought it.
All them cheap upgrades sound good to me as i really wouldn't want to go and do anything on the ECU at this time.

I'll add a VT/X, makes quite a bit more power in the engine sim (I only have head specs, no cam yet so it might not be perfect) but the weight kills it

The VY might be a little faster, or whatever model it was that got the dual cat exhaust as standard

Kinda, it tells you when the piston speed is excessive for stock style pistons and can calculate valve float and all that kind of thing (I assume perfect brand new springs/everything for these times). It's only as accurate as the specs you enter in, but if you get those right, it's spot on
