Hi,

New to the forum so hi to everyone. I’m going single turbo on my 5L 304 v8 and wondering if anyone can advise me if this turbo would be ok....

Turbonetics GTK 650

Comp Size: HP66, .70 A/R, 4" Inlet / 2.5" Outlet
Turbine Size: T4, 3" V-Band Outlet, .68 A/R, F1-65 Trim Wheel

im thinking the hot side .68ar is going to be trouble but googling it I’m not so sure.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Look up Richard Holdner on youtube. He has done many comparisons of turbos in real world testing from 4.8l to big blocks.
I'm going to get the old "it's a holden so it's not the same" it is all engines react exactly the same to boost as he demonstrates over and over again.

There's no ideal turbo but rather you have to decide where you want your power curve to be. I suggest you spend a few months watching his content, digest it and then you should know what you want and can choose for your self.
