did you quote the wrong person I was asking about albums not talking about ads.

Yeah sorry. Wrongly quoted. Was meant to quote comments about too many ads.

Not that effects you :)

But ads should be pretty well sorted I hope now if not I'll take a closer look.

I dare say this is a VERY VERY overdue update/grade. Well done to Darren for getting it done.

My pure honest feedback: overall i'm enjoying the update personally. I feel the GUI could have been a step even moreso forward in general layout/colour schemes and functionality. I'm certainly not hating the update by no means, I just feel the overall GUI is a few years outdated.

Having said this, well done to all those involved :)

When I opened the site, I thought I had gone to another website, i was thinking what the hell lol.

Thanks for the feedback has been a long time coming, things are starting to come together then I'll start concentrating on the main www site.

A couple of things I hope to get sorted this weekend:

Can access the site on https now but will be making that a permanent change by all means give it a crack if you want it should be a fair bit quicker and certainly seems snappier to me in testing to date.

Search index will be using Elastic Search which involves reindexing. In short better performance and more flexible searching capabilities.

Did someone previously ask about subscribed threads? I don't see any indication of a thread that I have posted in either, it's always good to go back in and see what's going on in a thread that I am active in.

Did the sig pic link get fixed?

How did you do yours? I just used the insert picture function when editing my signature and pointed it to a photobucket pic

While the old "stickies" still show at the top of thread lists, they aren't shown as stickies anymore.
