Nice work, following this one. Doing any further soundproofing in the interior?

Not at the moment as I can't afford it. Wish I could, maybe down the track.

Small update, been working my ass off over the last 2 days so only got a bit done.
The carpet had dried out enough to put in in and it is so comfy! I was more then happy to lay on it while doing electrical work ;)

Then just put in some trim pieces. For some reason the series 2 console trim wouldn't fit into the Caprice console, So I have just changed it to the Caprice leather look one for now, I kinda like it, I loved the other one but the woodgrain is a slightly different colour so maybe I'll just keep the Caprice one in.

Few pics.

That's it at the moment.

Not much but did a little.
Glove box, Seat belt trims, just little bits. And took off the Passenger side weather shield.

Looks a bit more complete.

And removing the weather shield cleans up the outside a bit more.

Damn that carpet looks good.
You know what would set the exterior off nicely? a chrome strip along the top of the door panels (beneath the windows) like the ones VP calais' had. And maybe calais/stato/caprice trolley strips. Just a thought.

It is bloody nice :)

And you're basically reading my mind, lol.
Yep, Caprice trolley strips are going on all doors, also the grey lower strips, and matching grey Caprice side skirts, so 2 toned like a normal white Statesman.
And the plan is to have all window surrounds completely chromed/polished.
Windows will be blacked out (as much as I can get away with), and lowered on hopefully some nice chrome/polished rims which might have whitewalls ;)

Managed to get a little bit of work done to it today, Probably won't get any more done til sunday.

Removed door trims and pulled door looms out, Swapped over the Caprice door looms.
Removed the drivers side weather shield.

Swapped over the passenger side outside door handle from the Caprice to the wagon (to remove the lock)
And removed the Wagon steering wheel and column, removed the air bag charge from the Caprice and Swapped it all into the wagon. Now I have a leather wheel :)

Power window ready :)

I had a day free so thought i'd rip into this.

A few guards found there way onto the front.

And then this happened!

The Caprice bar is just sitting there, problem is it's cracked so I will use the VR Statesman bar I have that is in better condition, of course I will have to cut out some holes for the Foglights.
Tomorrow the bonnet should be on :)

Sounds like a very good idea. I will keep it in mind for a bit later on.

Borrowing a pic here, but imagine this on the front of the wagon, coz that's what I want it to look like.
