hi guys i have a 97 vs v6 and lately i notice i think when its the first sart of the day that the car starts but idles kinda rough almost like enough fuel isnt getting in the motor but only for 5 or 10 seconds if u give the accelerator a hit it revs like normal then it seems to drive normal its just the slightly dodgy sart thats concerning me any ideas the spark plugs r fairly new as is the fuel and air cleaners i think the leads r original and the fuel injectors has got 205 000 km but like i said othr than the dodgy cold sart it seems to drive normal cheers muz
sounds like it's time for a new set of leads. try some injector cleaner. also whe nyou first put the key in the ignition and turn it to the "on" position before starting the car, can you hear the fuel pump run (makes a whining sound) for about 2 seconds and then shut off untill you start the car?
