My slimline hardlid seems to be letting a lot of water most probably becuse the seals are warn I’m Just wondering which gauge rubber I should get to prevent this happening And is Clarke rubber the place to go?

Cheers!

I redid my hard lid from scratch. There’s a thread here somewhere with it.
I used seals from Clark Blubber.
I used a neoprene or similar, rather than the bunky stuff.

Just so happened to take some pics of my lid the other day for the guy who’s going to wrap it.

Hope they help.
It was EPDM adhesive seal.

Not sure why one has green in the photo? It’s not there. Must have been green from next door lawn reflecting or something.

You can still get a seal kit from Holden for the hard lids. Someone was selling them
On eBay.

However the quality of doing the seals like this is far better.

Use closed-cell EPDM or Neoprene type, the other will soak up water.

Mines open cell. Has endured lots of torrential downpours. Dusty roads and it has stayed dry and dust free.
With the factory closed cell seals, we had problems with water coming in and dust.
