Smartphone screen mirroring on VE Commodore SV6 2011

Hi all,

I've been recently looking for ways to mirror my smartphone screen on my Holden IQ screen so that I can run Android auto on it. I couldn't find anything substantial other than replacing the head unit itself.

I came across this YouTube video where the smartphone screen was displayed on the head unit.

Also found this Audio Video interface device on https://www.aslautomedia.com.au/ve-series-2-e3-hsv-video-and-audio-interface.

Not sure if this will work.

Has anyone managed to mirror their smartphone screen on to the head until.

Any help or suggestion is appreciated.

I used a Android TV box. It plays all media you can imagine and mirror my phone .
My iq in a series 1 had the video and audio inputs just waiting to be used.
Very low Rez screen used in iq.
Prepare for bitter disappointment unless watching cartoons.

Oh. For power. I found one that was 5v and I used a USB charger into a USB battery pack into the Android box. No resets on startup or funny business.
