Smoke coming from header

Hey doesn’t anyone know what would cause my header to smoke after oil and oil filter change on a 2003 vy ,TIA

Spilled oil?
Yeah I did spill a little ,like the smallest amount wiped it up as good as I could , I let engine cool and degreased it but still doing it , didn’t want to run it too long incase it was something more serious , do you think it could just be burning any residue that I may have missed ?

Let it run and burn off, just keep an eye on it, you should see where the smoke is coming from so as long as it's not a coil or plug lead etc it should be fine.

Ok I’ll let it run for abit and see how it goes , the smokes only coming from the header near where oil was spilled so you’re probably right , thanks for the info !

Just be chilled. Let it burn off. Keep an eye on it like Immortality said. Make sure it’s not a battery cable or stick of dinamite smoking. If it’s just surface smoking, you’re good.
