ok ladies n gents, i have a smoking engine bay

my vt v6 has been sitting around doing nothing for the worse half of 7 months, i try n start it up n keep everything in good condition as best i can without driving it,

so i started it up today and let it idle for a bit get everything going, i notice a bit of dark smoke coming out the exhaust which cleared up and then i smelt a bad smell coming front be engine bay, pop it open and there's smoke coming off the factory pipes. it Looks like there's some liquid there but i can't tell what it is, any suggestions? help?

i get my license back in the next month so id like to get it all fixed before i get it back on the road?

take some pictures, of where the oil is might be able to figure it out for you, but yea switch the rocker cover gaskets 1st then just let it burn off, if its just on the manifold it won't do too much

As said its just oil getting onto your manifold. Take it for a nice long drive then look for your oil leak. Sounds like a rocker gasket is weeping a little bit.
