So called chips??

    My brother just gave me one of those 'Chips' off ebay.

    I was gonna whack it in the vr just to see if there was any difference at all. I dont have a manual, so where is the IAT??

    Don't even worry about finding your IAT, those so called "chips are just a dodgy resister that tricks your car into thinking the air is colder then it is.

    if you wanna fit it.. fit it too this

    That's a bit of a worry, I wondered what these ebay chips did and the V6 runs hot enough as is. Getting an actual Cold Air Intake would be the go hey and actually making the air cooler itself?

    yes, ebay also has these, as does holden at a slightly higher price, Autobarn can also sell you the identical model to what holden will sell you for at least tripple the price.

    CAI is the way to go.

    yeah I found a factory GMH CAI on ebay which fits straight into the airbox for $49.50 which sounds very reasonable and one of those lifetime filters for $69.
