Probably do need a abs scan tool to pulse them.
I have heard you can pulse them by locking it up on a gravel road a few times.

Might be worth getting some braided lines. What booster you using. I think the V8 one with a V6 master would be spongy.

Evening, this is the big bodied booster I'm using, same style as the one that came on the car 11 years ago when I purchased it. What model ones do yous have on your VR?

Pete

Na mate....I have a V8 double diaphram booster with a standard 15/16 drum braked 6 cylinder master and the brake pedal isn't soft...

My current set up is VT front brakes and standard VC disc brakes on the rear, with braided front brake lines, a V8 double diaphram booster with a 15/16 master cylinder. I have had an 1" master cylinder fitted (which is available for both V6 and V8's) and the pedal was a little firmer....I'll fit the 1" master cylinder up again, one day ;)

That booster is a VH-512 which is the same as used on VL Turbo's and V8's.

Looks different to the 2 V8 double diaphram boosters I have....1 is from a VC and the other from a V8 VR from what the seller told me, with both boosters I have looking identical.....

I have a smaller bodied booster at her me that I was given for a commodore a few years ago, when u was trying boosters to get a less spongy pedal. It looks similar to the one in stick3's link he posted. But we the out the tapered bit behind the master cylinder.

Post a photo when i get home

Pete
