VN Commodore
Model;
Holden VN Commodore S
Year;
1990
Colour;
Alpine white
Transmission;
5 speed manual
Exhaust;
Stock
Stereo;
Kenwood head unit, Kicker subs, 6x9's on parcel shelf.
Wheels;
15" stockies with trims and caps.
Plans;
Decent exhaust, SS lower lip. Replace all bushes and make underneath look neat aswell as the rest of the car to make it a neat daily driver.

Picked it up for $300 2 years ago. It was my first car that I had interest in doing up and getting it on the road. To get it roadworthy I put tail lights on it, a new roof lining, bushes, new tyres, new stock exhaust and a couple other minor things. I don't plan on doing many major mods to it as I am going to use it as my daily driver. I will most likely get another VN to do right up. It's my pride and joy so I will be just looking after it.
The first 2 pictures below are the pictures taken when i bought it.

Looks pretty tidy, I'd piss that gauge (tacho?) on the air vents off, get some new seat covers, and leave the rest alone.

Is the front touching that gutter or just the angle of the pic?

as said, lose the gauge put a grey airvent back in, random chunk of blue is stupid.

lower it, get better wheels, piss off the white plastic undertray there, itll only get ripped off on speed bumps.

get a number plate light, get seatcovers that arent stained with butt sweat

Fit a padded steering wheel to avoid a defect as well as a number plate light, Remove the plastic undertray. Maybe throw in some Calais seats.

Drive it until it stops & enjoy it while it lasts.

cheers for your comments guys, i have a number plate light, some lowered springs to put on it, ill get rid of that annoying white thing and no its not touching its just the pic, seats are tidy underneath i just got covers to protect them but them covers are old and have got dirty from working on it etc and wear and ill eventually get rid of the tacho and blue thing, its just there as it was a Christmas present and i wanted to show some respect and put it in my car. As for the wheels, i plan on keeping them for a while until i can afford a nice set. i have some 17s but it drives pretty rough on them and yes thats a good idea about the steering wheel.

looks good :) i would go reject shop or cheap as chips and pick up some cheap rubber floor mats,reason protect carpet and protect self when working on anything electrical.get a dash mat so interior don't crack.grab a nice dark grey lambs wool seat covers get good ones on sale as its summer at the moment should be some good sales as it's off season.loose the air fresheners as they car stain and muck up your interior<----there's a section on this site of the damage they have caused on some peoples cars.don't like the wire coming out of drivers door and going under bonnet u should fix that first.good on you for showing respect :) :) you could put it left of steering wheel or in the slot that has wallet in it .overall i think it looks very clean and well cared for :) :)and i like the wheels you have on it they suit the car :) keep up the good work :) look after it and it will look after you :)

Just some pics of my VN, What do you guys think I should do to it?
Is it RWC and rego'ed to you? If not get a RWC inspection done and start working thru that list as it has that sports wheel and the silly taco on it I'm guessing it needs a RWC maybe the L-plate gave it away. Don't do any mods untill its rego'ed to you even then don't bother modin it just drive it.
