I would be a bit cautious with this one. I saw it for sale when I was looking for one. It was for sale for $9500 as is minus the engine work. Thats a big jump in price for the minimal mods, and why would you buy a car rebuild it all and then sell it around 6 months later.

Sure are mate, series II ones like mine. They're more bolstered and have the velour sides.

they look very similar to the ones in the vp ss's - is that correct?

also just a quick one for you airstrike - with your SS, how do the fog lamps work? there's a switch under the radio right? do they only turn on with the headlights on? or can they turn on separately or?!?

For them to work you set the headlight switch on, then turn the foglights on. This then cuts the headlights to parkers and turns the foglights on.

yup i got the foglight switch

was just wondering how to wire them to work correctly

it's all a bit crazy - is there any laws regarding use of foggies?
or just to use them in fog? lol

Just wire them up so you can use them whenever you want man.

Use a plug from the rear demisters or wipers for wagons which is what most models have, and leave the two wires that run the light in the switch (same colour wires as on the A/C switch) and then run a power and a negative from the relay of your fog lights to the switch and connect them to two of the other wires that were connected to the plug.

There are laws regarding the use of fog lights and you're only meant to be able to run them with high beams on or headlights on I think but its good to be able to choose :p

Its legal with parkers or highbeams. You are only ment to have them on in 'adverse driving conditions'. I have had mine on before and been driving at dusk and been warned by a copper. Said that they basically do you for failure to have your headlights on even though you can see fine with parkers and foglights.
I run mine all the time cept once it gets dark.
